hi, im a 21 year old male thats been having constant dizzyness for over a month now, i went to my normal doctor a few times and the best he could come up with is that it might be anxiety, though these past few days ive been having memory problems, speech difficulties and trouble walking, im gonna see another doctor on wednesday but im considering going to my hospital to get checked out cause its causing great worry for me. anyone have any opinions on what i should do?thanks.

ajaz: I would suggest getting to a Neuro. A GP doesn't really specalize in matters of the brain and you should really be looked at by a specialist. If you can't get an appt right away, go the ER route. Your brain is nothing to mess with and given the fact that you're having speech difficulties and trouble walking you need to have that investigated.

Yes, although you're young, your symptoms are worrysome, and should be checked out by your doctor at a hospital, where hopefully they will do some imaging your your head just to rule out the rare things that can cause your symptoms.

I would either see a neuro or a cardiologist. The dissiness might be caused by a heart problem...not getting enough blood to your brain.

It could be an inner ear problem, many causes of dizziness are related to inner ear disorders. I would ask to see and ENT as well as what the others have suggested, try posting on the inner ear board explaining your dizziness, most of the people there suffer with dizziness/vertigo.

Try to get an MRI done because they tend to show alot more then CT scans can show.
