Other then Botox, I am thinking of having some work done on my face. I am not ready for a face life yet even though I need one, but am looking as some of the new procedures out that do not involve cutting. I want to work on my clown lines- from the sides of my nose down. I want to tighten my chin /and my jawls.
I was wondering what some of you have done and how you like it. I would like to get my lips a little bigger, but everyone I see you has that done, seems to have duck lips!

I had my eyes done and am very happy with that surgery. I think it set the clock back about 5 or 6 years at least. No one can believe I am 50. I am saving up for a facelift; after two years, I am planning on having the surgery, using my profit sharing money from my job. I asked about getting a minifacelift, but the nurse told me they are not worth it because they don't last that long. Actually, if you get a good doctor, the facelifts that are done now are very naturally looking. Look at some before and after pictures online. They are impressive. It is quite expensive though. For what I want done, it will cost $12,000. But why grow old gracefully, when there is cosmetic surgery???

I still have a great figure and lots of energy and want to look the same way on the outside. I have been using glycolic acid lotion (20 percent solution) from A-Cute Derm for about 4 years now and have noticed a definite improvement in my skin. It's an excellent exfolient and if it is used on a consistent basis it slowly rids the top layers of old skin and replaces it with new and tighter skin. Also, I use copper peptides from skinbiology, along with the glycolic lotion. I must say, my skin looks fantastic for my age. I use the copper peptides in the morning under my make-up and the glycolic lotion at night. One large bottle of glycolics last about 3 months or so.

Awhile back, I also had a series of microdermabrasions done, so I think that helped too.

Well, whatever you do, I would not go for the mini facelift. I have had too many nurses and doctors tell me they just aren't worth the money because they really don't do much and don't last long like the regular facelift.
