im trying a new product called esdifan, you can do your research on the product.
its supposed to work like imodium does, at stopping diarrhea, and preventing it... as well as some of the cramping/pains.
its a natural product.
i was wondering if anyone had tried this product before?
its kinda expensive, like $24 a month.
maybe someone would wanna start the same time as me, and we could share stories on how it worked and post our progress on here or something? or even a group of people.
just a thought as i keep searching for a cure or even relief from my symptoms.
i guess i should add the products/medicines i've tried that haven't worked.. and if they had worked at all, have completely lost all effect.
You will never find one magic cure-all product for your IBS. After suffering from symptoms for 24 years, I'm absolutely sure of that.
Stick to natural products like soluble fiber and probiotics.
NEVER give up on probiotics. They are good for you. I'm convinced they are best thing I've ever tried. If they stopped working, try another brand. Make sure it's a good quality refrigerated brand. My favorite is Reuteri.

I'm not saying a cure-all product... I've suffered from this for 12 years... I'm looking for relief... it was more of a metaphor.
I'm looking for something to give me RELIEF! there, now there is no confusion.
Believe me, I've probably lived one of the healthiest IBS lives, and still am suffering. I've done it all...
I'm always searching for new innovative ways to treat this disorder.
oh, and for the record, sticking to a diet based on soluble fiber and taking probiotics for over 6 months, i found no relief. what works for you, may not work for me

Your list of meds is almost identical to what I've tried. The only thing I am still taking on a regular basis is Immodium, and for the nights when I think my stomach will cramp up, Donnatal before bed.
I'm going to look up esdifan and if its available locally, I'd love to give it a try. I've suffered from IBS-D for over 10 years and its controlling / ruining my life so at this point, I'll try anything!
Have you started it yet BB? BTW, we've 'spoke' before on these boards. I had to change screenname, used to be seabell.
Hope to 'talk' to you soon.

I haven't tried it yet actually. I was waiting to hear from anyone on here if they had tried it.. or if anyone wanted to start at the same time and kind of compare our results and stuff.
because the dosage for each individual is different, and if you had 2 people or a group monitoring symptoms it might be easy to find a dosage... i mean a group of minds works better than one.
im probably going to have to order it, because i haven't seen it available at any of the pharmacies or anything.
the only thing is its 24 dollars, thats why i was kinda waiting to see who had tried it and the kind of results they achieved.
and yes i remember you, sorry you're still suffering. i am too. unfortunately it has gotten worse as well.
its been 10 years+ for me too. 5 years diagnosed.

esdifan is just zeolite and lots of Vitamin B-12.
What does zeolite do?

you forgot.. calcium. and calcium has been shown to be VERY beneficial in patients with IBS. if you dont know why this is, ask. i'll be glad to enlighten you.
zeolite is good at filtering toxins... thats why people have colonics done.
