I have two questions about the pill...
Is it possible to get it from your gynecologist without someone knowing such as parents or relatives in general? Or would I really have to go to a Planned Parenthood or something?
Second....is it possible to know when your getting your period once you've started the pill? Like if you take it at a certain time...will it come at a certain time?
Sorry for weird question(s). Thanks!

Your gynocologist has to keep all private health information private. However, if you're really young, your parents may have access to this information.
Also, if you're using your parent's insurance, it's likely that they'd get a summary of claims filed, which might include the gynocological exam.
Most women become very regular when using the pill, and know exactly what day their period will come. Some women even know what time of day to expect their periods.

Thanks. :)
But I mean for when it comes to getting your period...like if I started the pill today when would I get my period? Would I be able to know or would it be a surprise?
Sorry...confusing...

You wouldn't know for sure when your first period on the pill will happen. Ideally, it would come some time during your inactive/placebo week, but it's common to have irregularies when first starting the pill. You may spot for the entire month, or you may not get a period at all.

Planned Parenthood is a good option for confidentiality and quality. There are good doctors and nurses working in those places. Since the service is directed towards woman for the most part, PP covers the gambit on sexual health. Not like some free clinics that don't have the resources to devote much attention to young patients.
