My scars are in my armpits and you can't see them unless you are looking for them. I used ScarFade. Got samples from my PS then ordered it cheaper online at scarfade.com. Do ask your PS when you can start using something like this.

Hi,
my scars are on my nipples, I really wanted to go though my armpit but my PS said my breast would come out better if he went though my nipple, my breast were a B cup and I had a high fold (whatever that means) he needed to add fullest under my nipple.. my scars are just so dark and deep! I am scared they are not going to heal right... How long did you wait to put that stuff on? Have you ever try that stuff in the store scar theapy?

Thanks for answering me! :)

The only product that I have experience with is ScarFade, and it is good. Others swear by Mederma (available at Walmart) and there are other products as well. Alot of PS aren't skilled in the transax (armpit) incision. They have to do it completely with a scope and monitor, rather than seeing first hand what they are doing. I am lucky in that my PS is experienced with that procedure. Even though your scars are around the nipple, I understand that they fade to thin almost undectable lines as well. :) I don't recall exactly when I started using the ScarFade, but I think it was at about 3 weeks.

Ya know Blueeyes, I was thinking. You aren't that far post op. Why not ask your PS for some sample of what they may have for your scar healing? For some reason, mine didn't offer them up untill I asked! :)

I got an RX from ym PS called Hydroquinone 4% it is great!! I put it on my lipo scars and somestretch amrks I had, they are almost faded...I have been using it for three weeks. Not sure of the cost, because i have RX coverage so it was $5 co-pay but it is awesome....I had Scar Therapy from Curad and Mederma - allergic to BOTH! I am not allergic to anything! Well, now I am.
Any whoooo, the stuff works well, ask your PS. :)
