MY husband and I have begun TTC seriously this past month. We have been trying on and off the past six months. I'm curious about the ovulation test. I took one this morning when I got back from work and I had one dark and one faint line, the directions are very confusing to me and neither my husband and I can figure out if it's an a-okay to go or to wait till I'm completely ovulating? I should be at my peak day on thursday. Has anyone else tried these and what are your thoughts on it? Also this may sounds stupid, but we were wondering if you can ovulate and be pregnant at the same time? I've been ill the past month and my period was only two days and I've only received on positive pregnancy test (very faint line) and I was refused a blood test when I went to planned parenthood (long story, uh! -- we are STILL awaiting on our insurance). If you can't O will pregnant then I can finally rule pregnancy out and find out what illness I have!
Sorry so long, I'm so full of questions :) Thank you so much ladies

About your OPK test line not being as dark as the control line...the ones that I have used have all stated that if the test line is not as dark or darker than the control line that you have not yet reached ovulation but that day is approaching so you should continue to test until the two lines are the same or the test line is darker than the control line. I don't know if you can ovulate while you are pregnant, the way a womens cycle goes I don't think that you would but I am not certain about that. However on a previous post, if I am not mistaken some of the ladies said the OPK can also be used as HPT... Have you tried a HPT?, so if you are pregnant that could be why your getting the results you are on the OPK. Either way best of luck and baby dust to you!
