I'm thinking of getting a nose job, very serious about it, although people tell me I don't need one. My fear is that I will end up with a bad job, and then I'll regret it and wish I had my original nose back. Has anyone had this happen to them? Sometimes you see pics of people's before and afters and they actually looked better before... Also, I've read that the trend in new trend in nose jobs is not to have the beverly hills barbie nose anymore, but to have a more unique look. (I'd rather have the beverly hills barbie nose)... Has anyone had any experience with regretting their "after" picture?the new thing is to have it changed only slightly. I don't know how to go about finding an EXCELLENT doctor in my area (NYC), and I don't know how to go about locating his past patients to see what they have to say about the surgeon... Any ideas??? Thanks...

Well not a nose job here--- but an ear(s) job that I am totally dissatisfied with.
It's easy for others to say you don't need anything - as it is not them with the dilemma.
Best advice is ask to talk to others who have had a nose job performed by your surgeon-to-be

Hey, I was just wondering how did everything go? Did you ever end up getting the nose job? I just got my fist consultation today, and i am very sure that i am doing this, although i am not yet sure which doctor i am choosing. I also live in NYC as was wondering if you could tell me how your search went. It'd be lots of help! Thanx!

Hi. My Dr. said that I can contact his former patients that gave their permission. I love my new nose! I have never heard of a before picture being better. People said that I didn't need to do it, but it's not up to them is it? It's great to invest in yourself, you only have one life, and the procedure is not a temporary thing. It's not unhealthy and nothing foregin in your body. What more can you ask for? Please give us an update on your decision. Thanks......
