My mother had Stage 3 ovarian cancer. She had surgery and the doctors removed a 3lb tumor from her stomach during a histarectamy at Roswell Cancer Park. She seems to be ok now. She refused followup Chemo and that is her choice. She fell and broke her hip. She had surgery and the following week..another surgery to fix her femer from a second brake. My question is this...I heard that opening a cancer patient up will spread the cancer faster if there is any left. Is this true? Thank you for your input in advance.
