I was wondering, how soon after getting an IUD removed can you get pregnant? I am wanting to have a baby but right now I have an IUD. How long must I wait before ttc?

Do keep in mind though, that removal, similarly as insertion, has the ability to upset your horomones a little bit (although extremely unlikely in the event of removal). You do not have to wait before trying to conceive. When I had mine removed after 18 months, I knew my cycle down to the minute, and the removal didn't throw it off one bit. With a Mirena, my guess would be a month or so, as time must be allotted for the uterine lining to become once again rich enough in tissue to be able to support the implantation of a fertilized egg.
