I've tried, welbutrin, ritalin, & concerta. None of them seemed to work. Well concerta did has long as I was taking 54mg but it made me very moody, angry, ya know agressive. Now I am going to start Medate tomorrow. Can anyone tell me their experiences on it. Also how did it affect your apetitie?

I've been on Metadate CD for a month and it was 30 mg. I am now on 40 mg. and have had a much better response to it than to regular Ritalin (60 mg.). I had mood swings really bad on Ritalin although it worked for me. The mood swings and depression feelings were too much to handle on Ritalin so my doc switched me. He was out of the country so his fill-in doc switched me. Then he increased the dose when he got back. He will probably be upping it again if I need it. I feel sooooooooooo much better on it than the Ritalin. I have NOT had the drop in moods on the Metadate CD. In addition I have been taking a 20 mg. pill of Ritalin around 5 P.M. or 3 if I feel like I need it. I am to call the dr. in another week to let him know how the 40 is doing and if I need the dosage increased so I will tell him then that I do. I hope it works for you like it did for me. I have also tried Straterra with no success on it. I also take Prozac and Abilify for depression. I would love to hear how the Metadate is working for you so please keep me posted.
