Anyone have a change from IBSD to IBSC?. It appears that I am heading this way as I get older. Also with IBSC my BM colour always starts to become darker and small hard lumps. Anyone have this also?

I've gone from IBSD to IBSC and then back again. Currently I'm in the IBS-C mode and have been for quite a while. Everything comes out like small pebbles, or rocks. This for me is life consuming. It's an everyday struggle, one that I hate.
Recently I had an upper GI series done and they scared the living daylights out of me by saying that the barium that I drank, once it was inside would become hard as concrete, so I had to ensure that it came out quickly. I just wanted to cry, as I have nothing but chronic constipation alll the time. What craziness I go thru.
So, you are not alone, I would bet alot of people have switched back and forth between IBS-D and IBS-C.
