If you have to be hyperactive to qualify for this poll, then just disregard my post. I'm one of the quiet, spacy ones.
I normally wake up 6-7-ish, mosey groggily through breakfast and getting ready for the day, am able to face the world (talk to humans) after 9 or so, hit high point around midday, slow down a bit later in the afternoon, lose the ability to talk coherently or process anything by 8-9 pm, and then I have to go to bed. Evening social engagements are painful.
So I guess that makes me NEITHER a morning lark OR a night owl. Well, I never did fit into any molds -- at least until I found out about ADD!!! :)

 I think I'd fit that description as well - quiet and somewhat spacy. I'm not ADHD - just ADD and dyslexic. Early mornings are my time. As soon as it is light outside - I've got to get up. I go full steem untill about 2pm and then poop out for the rest of the day.

I'm ADHD & a night owl. Don't usually get tired till around 3-4am, up between 10am-12pm. I function better as the day progresses. So my work schedule (6pm-2am) fits my lifestyle perfectly.

I'm a complete night owl as well, though I don't have ADHD. I've always had 9-5 corporate jobs & its a real struggle to get up and be ready in the morning. I have to look for a field that allows a later work shift like that!

I am definitely a morning person. I hit a wall at about 3PM and am ready for bed by 10. I am a mess when I'm tired.

In high school the classes that I had after lunch time I did way better in as opposed to the ones b4 lunch..ah well...that's life ;)

Weird that you posted this question...You may want to go back and read my post a few days ago, forgot the title, about 'why am i a night owl?' or something. I have ADD, and I am most definitely a night owl.

I'm a sort of split-shift/personality ADDer who only sometimes has the "H" part.
When not medicated, I get up early, take a 10 minute nap sometime mid-day (like at lunch) and stay up to the a.m. hours.
When medicated, I do the same, except I stay up even later and then am very groggy in the morning, and only get up early because I have to.

I have ADD and am a total night owl. I can work a first shift job but feel exhausted practically all day long. Once I'm home I'm much better. Of course, the fact that I always hated all my jobs didn't help my fatigue level any. My son and daughter, age 23 and 19 also have ADD and are also night owls. As a matter of fact, they sometimes go a night or two without even sleeping at all. I can't do that or I'd feel horrible.
