Check into having laser done on them. I have seen
terrific looking photos on the web and it removes them
completely but could get expensive. Also I heard Retin A is a good treatment.

I read that any topical treatment will not get rid of stretchmarks, but I still am tempted to try Mederma also. (I have a few stretchmarks also). If you try it, please post the results. I think laser treatments are the best way to go though. Good luck, take care everyone.

Stretch marks are permanent. It's all part of having a baby. If you decide to have a baby at the age of twenty, then you decide to get stretch marks at the age of twenty. I have them. Most women who have babies have them. And most women deal with it and thank God for their healthy babies. And my husband could care less about them. And your husband shouldn't care either. Look what your body was able to do? If stretch marks are the after effects, then so what? It's all worth it.,

Try the good old fashioned remedy.. olive oil.. apply as often as possible and it's really good if you put lots of it in your bath water and just let it sink into your skin that way. It's best to use on new scars. It may not make them disappear completely, but over time, I've seen great improvement. And some of the stretchmarks I had that were very bad before are hardly noticable anymore (course I don't apply it very much, but when I do, it seems to work miracles). You can buy olive oil for really cheap at the dollar store... Hope this helps!!! Also, cocoa butter is good too. Use both together for even better results.
