well i just came back from a 10 day trip out of the us and all of a sudden my ear started bleeding out of the middle of know where well a couple of days before that i was very sick with a fever and i thought i had swimmers ear i am just very afarid about it last night i started feeling things and i got up and walked around and my dad said i keep geting up a curseing for some reason i dont know why but it has been 1 day know and i am going to a doctor to day it is bleeding right now i dont know i think u can lose a eardrum cant u? :confused:

If you had swimmer's ear, you could have an ear infection with fluid. It could have burst your ear drum. Usually when this happens you experience vertigo too. I had my ear drum surgically drained in January resulting from an ear infection. I didn't have the vertigo, but it may be becasue it didn't rupture on it's own. I would get to the doctors.

I haven't had any bleeding with my ear problem that I have now and I don't think any one else on the board has listed that as a symptom either.
