Well, as some of you know, I was thought to have PID. I went to a gyno yesterday and they followed up today. I called because I was still in a lot of pain. My dr said that it probably isn't PID, because there wasn't much fluid when they did an internal and my wbc wasn't high. I'm just wondering what it might be, because I still have horrible lower abdominal pain, fever and feel poorly. I'm a little upset that they didn't check for a UTI, because I think it sounds like maybe that's what I have.

I just got back from my doctor and she tested me for a bladder infection, and it turned out that I had a very bad one. It's a relief to find out what was wrong, though.

wow. im glad u didnt have PID. but how long did u have this pain b4 u went to the dr? i had UTI in jan, (i didnt even have any signs) but never finished my meds. i think i have it again. i didnt know u can have a fever along w it. and how did u feel "poorly"?
and do we have to go to the dr for this? isnt there any over the counter drugs to kill the infection?
