I don't know a whole lot, but someone I knew had one session and never smoked again. So it worked for about 25 years

It worked for my mother-in-law. Didn't work for me or my mom. What works for one person may not work for another. I've tried just about everything. Might as well, SOMETHING has to work right? :D

As with any method of quitting, you first have to WANT to quit and THAT is the foundation for whether the method will work....or not.

I tried every method including hypnotherapy. It didn't work for me but I attribute that to the fact that I was not 100% sure I wanted to quit. If you are 100% sure you want to quit, ANY method will work. ;)

I'm using self-hypnosis to stop smoking. 1st session didn't stop me,
but the author of the book said to do the session 3 times and then
a follow up session. I also have a self-hypnosis kit. I haven't used
that yet. I'm just going to knuckle down and do whatever it takes
to stop smoking.

Will you post again if this works for you? I'm considering trying it too. Just used up the last of the Nicotrol Inhalers I had. I had high hopes for it working (or at least helping). Like you, I'm going to do whatever it takes. Keep us updated, okay?
