SO today is Canada Day. It's a day off up here. Anywho, my boyfriend went out with one of his old friends who he hasn't seen in a year or so (it's an ex girlfriend who's been married and is expecting a child. They've been friends since the broke up 8 years ago, and I'm okay with that. I have lots of guy friends). Anyway, I'm sitting here, planned to go out for supper with him, but he hasn't come home yet, still showing her the town. I wasn't invited, and frankly the third-wheel role is not my favourite, so I spent the afternoon at the beach, etc.

Anyway, it's not that I have a problem with him being out, I actually like being alone sometimes. It's just that I"m feeling a bit lonely right now....my best friend just moved to United Arab Emirates, so I'm lonely overall..

Sorry for the venting, just needed to get it off my chest. thanks.

Hi Cartjen
Wow! I think that is great that you are able to not be jealous over your b/f especially with his old g/f. I guess I have been hurt too many times.

I am sorry you are feeling down. Happy Canada Day! I hope you feel better soon. It helps to be alone sometimes to feel like you can be free.

Warm hugs,
Sam
