It is six weeks after the tendon surgery on my ankle and I now have a lace up brace ( more like a straight jacket for your ankle) and am walking in a sneaker. It is amazing how hard it is! This is the second time I have had this surgery, the first time was in November on the left ankle. My foot is tired and I have to really focus on putting it down right, and after about an hour I am done -- I start PT next week, I know that will help, I am using the boot as well, it is much easier then the sneaker.
