I've had a pressure type headache and HEAVY HEADED FEELING (especially when holding my head up, walking, etc) for 2 months now NON STOP 24-7 I have had a brain MRI and CT which were both negative except minimal sinus inflamation.... In the last 2 weeks though I have been having tingling down the lower back, legs, and to a lesser extend my hands. It feels like some one is squeezing the upper part of my cervical spine..... and i also feel pressure in the forehead which i thought was sinuses at first but now im starting to wonder if the pain is referred up from the upper neck. I had a neck xray from a chiropractor which appeared normal. I also have had crepetations (rice krispies sounds) since the chiropractor.
DOES ANY ONE HAVE ANY GUESSES???

Emak,
Some of your symptoms sounds like what I went thru in December 2003. On January 2004, I came down with Bell's Palsy. Call your general practioner and ask him/her for a referral to a Neurologist, but sounds like you already have one. You might want to also "destress". I was going thru a lot of stress at that time. You might also want to have your blood pressure checked and your sugar level. But your body is rejecting or fighting something.... go thru a process of elimination such as high blood pressure, brain tumor, diabetes, pregnancy? (don't know if you're male or female), but keep checking until you find an answer.... health is wealth.
Good luck and I'll pray that you find the answer and cure it.

Hey SFgirl I have had the following tests..... CT brain; MRI brain; EKG; blood pressure; hepatitis C, HIV, liver function, plus other standard blood tests. I am 28 and male, with no history of major medical problems and I am in good cardio vascular and muscular shape since I worked out 3-4 days a week till this started. I was diagnosed with migraines but I know there is really no way that is what i have. Also I have a drastically reduced sense of smell and feeling of fullness in my nose, which further led me to my original belief of sinus trouble, but now I dont know because I don't have any of the other symptoms of sinus or allergies
ANYONE HAVE AN OPINION?

I have had similar pain since January. 24 hours a day for 6 months really starts to get to ya =( I'm a 22 year old college student and have always been very healthy. It all started out with a very very heavy load of stress.
I've also been run through every test out there and my neuro says it's occipital neuralgia and transferred migraines and new persistent daily headache which is causing a non-stop cycle of pain.
I've seen two neuro's, a chiropractor, a massage specialist, accupunture, dentists, TMJ specialist, everything!
Still haven't found anything to take the pain away. Hang in there, and don't feel alone.

I know exactly what you're going through. I've had the same thing for about 8 1/2 weeks now. It started suddenly and hasn't really gone away. Some symptoms such as weakness aren't as bad anymore more but I still have dizziness and tingling in my hands and Left Ear.
Still waiting to see a neurologist. I can't help but think this is not gonna go away. I've gained weight because I haven't been able to get out and go to the gym. I've felt like 'ending it'. :( I'm only 21

I've had the exact same thing for about a week and a half now. It comes and goes. Sometimes I forget its there other times its a very acute pressure that will lead to a tingling sensation. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday. 28yo male, maybe not in the best shape but not a sloth either. Came during a heavy workload with hard deadlines.
