Ok i got this swelling on my inner lips, at first i was SURE it was a Bartholion(sp) gland cyst..but the doctor proved me wrong.

This thing, i dont even know if its a cyst, is very small...its like a big pimple.

Its painlsss and i dont feel it (thats how small it is)..

She said to come and see her at the end of this week and if its not gone by then she'll pop it. Stupid me was too nervous to ask how she would do that but i dont think its a "surgery".. i asked what she would use and she said some needle thing i dunno...


I look at it now and its starting to look like a bit of a white head..its like sunday now do you think by friday it'll pop?
It had no white in it when i went to see her on friday.

Do you think her poping it would hurt?

There is no way to know if it will pop naturally.

She'll probably drain the cyst with a small needle, drawing out the fluid. I would imagine that she'd give you some sort of local anesthetic so that you can't feel anything. It should be able to be done in office and without little ill effects.
