Hello,
I am forty yrs old and have one child who will be four soon. In my twenties I had dysplasia class 3 pap smear and had it frozen. I also had a
Biopsy and it was fine. None of my previous Doctors have ever told me I have
two cervixes even having a baby no one told me this. Just recently I moved to Colorado Springs had a pap smear, and this old coot of a Doctor is down
there and says to me did you know you have two cervixes? I told him what I had done years ago, but not any Doctor has told me that. I was going to change Doctors after that, but had to see him again for birth control pills and another pap smear. I don't think he remembered me and he said again did you know you have two cervixes? I rolled my eyes and said yes you told me that
before. Anyways I received a notice that he was retiring and I need to find another Doctor. Fine with me, I don't believe what he told me, I think it is scar tissue and will get a second opinion. ANY INPUT ON THIS WOULD BE APPECIATED! THANKS

It IS possible to have 2 cervixes but I don't understand how nobody else noticed, unless they did but didn't tell you. Or else, this could just be an everyday joke the "old coot" likes to throw at patients.

Did you bring your medical files with you when you moved? It would be written in there for sure. If you don't have them perhaps you could call your old doctor/gyno and ask them if they ever noticed it.

I'm in the Springs. I can highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Judith Chandler, RN, ***, WHCNP who works for George Juetersonke, D.O. They aren't OB/GYN but there is no better doc out there!!! She used natural vitamin/mineral supplements to reverse my cervical dysplasia and they spend an hour and a half just talking with you about your total health. I've never found a doctor so concerned with overall health!

Thank You I will check it out, I am not buying I have two cervixes. I believe
someone would have conveyed this to me if I had. One lady Doctor a few yrs ago said to the person who stands in the room when you are having a pelvic.
That it looked like I had a lot of surgeries there, but she was not talking to me. I have had at least two biopsies painful too.
