Hello-
I just thought this might help some folks new to a diagnosis, and wanting to either avoid meds or supplement them with behavioral changes (I am doing both)

if you have everyday things that have worked for you, I would love to hear them!

- when working, keep post it notes near my work area and when a thought pops into my head "you'll never finish this", "laundry", "when is it dinner?"--whatever it is that is demanding my attention, I write it down and promise to get back to it.

- set a timer and every 20 minutes or so, allow a break (reset the timer to start work again) and read the notes, throw out bad messages..unhelpful

- visualize the night before what I will study...visualize the information becoming mine to use.

- exercise

- ask for help

- try to give myself credit for things i did complete.

- write down on the same notes when i took meds, and recognize changes.

anyway- there are so many, and i know they are listed in a million places, but this has really worked for me.
