:confused: Ok.... im 19 years old and me and my boyfriend are trying to have a child. this is the infomation i can give you all im wondering is what are... my chances for say of becoming pregnant. ok here it gose
My cycle is 26days long ( if u ovarlate a week after your period) i had my period june 23-28 me and my boyfriend had sex 1,3,5 of July which is every other day of my ovarlating period ( or so this website says....) as far as i know im healthy and so is he. i know i have no stds and i know he has none. we were each others first. and we get tested each month( not that we dont trust each other we just want to make sure we get tested together.) we have been dating for 6 years and we always used the pull out methond and/ or a jelly i put inside me with a cap thing. ok my reasonsing for bringing that up is after 6 years of this i never had any discomforts but now after we do it .. i have a cramp almost right above the start of my ( u know what) or below my belly botton bout a inch 1/2 below. After me and my boyfriend have sex. i lay down flat with my hips proped up for about 5 mins then after that just lay down. we only use the 2 postions that i was told the best for making a baby ( man on top ) and Doggie. well I shouldtn start my period intell July 21. before i get my hopes up .. i would like ot know my chances of becoming pregnant thank you sooo much love ya girls :angel:

You actually ovulate about 2 weeks after your period, assuming you have a 28 day cycle. Technically though it is 2 weeks BEFORE your next period (which works out the same, only if your cycle is 28 days). Since you cycles are 26 days, that means you ovulate around day 12 of your cycle, which would have been around July 5. So you started a little early but since sperm can live up to 5 days, the timing was probably pretty good. Hope it happens for you this month!

well i think your chances are as good as anyone elses... my doctor told me two things that you might want to know... if you are going to keep your hips up after sex... hold them up ATLEAST 20 minutes...like with a towel under your hips... and when i asked her if the sex position mattered... dh on top or me on top, she said it didnt matter as long has you have the sperm in you and then you put your hips up for 20 minutes or so, your chances would be good... also you both might be in good health, but you may have some sort of unbalancement in your diet, or maybe your bf sperm is to thick... which is not uncommon... but can be treated... let us know how you do.

It sounds like your doing everything right, with the corrections the ladies above gave you! Just remember that it can take a healthy couple an average of 1 year to conceive and that there is only a 25-35% chance every month that it will happen...some ladies on the board it has happened the first month and others have been trying for years...be patient, try to relax (although its hard, I know), and have fun practicing...keep things exciting and fun for you and bf! P.S. Are you charting bbt, cm, cp, OPK, and/or ovulation microscope? These tools/techniques can help you to pin point ovulation.

Thank you guys i dont know yet ill keep yall updated though and Tglenn no im not charting ... but if you count my calender then ok i am i asked my doctor the other day she said that 1st month 15-35% , by the 3rd month 40% , 6 month 70 % and within a year 85%... is what she had told me gosh i was one of those people who thought as soon as u tryed it happen for you ... guess not THIS SUCKS but its worth it. soo to the first posty. so wait around July 5th is when i ov. isnt it hopes so he is leaving soon to go up north his aunt is sick. and he will b gone a week. ok well THank all of you keep em coming bcas. yall are helping me more then you think.
