Ok here's the deal for the last few months (5-6) I have had irregular menstrual cycles. I am currently sexually active and I wouldn't say that I'm TRYING to get pregnant, but if it happend my boyfriend and I would be fine with it. So here is my problem I took a pregnancy test about 2 weeks ago the test had a faint line that would have meant the test was positive so because I was unsure about it I waited like 2 days and took another one and the same thing happened. I took one more the next day and it was negative. Well the following day I began spotting on and off not an everyday thing but for the last week or so it's been like that. Now it's really heavy like a period but it just started today so I'm not sure yet. Anyone ever heard of anything like this or know what it may be? :confused:

I have heard that there is no such thing as a false posotive and any posotive result even a faint one is a indicator of a definite pregnancy... But the bleeding kinda throws me off... Yet again I have heard of people bleeding throughout their pregnancies... You need to go get a blood test done to be sure.... Good Luck... Keep us Updated...

Yeah I had never heard of that either, that's why I took so many. But I have a doctor's appointment Aug. 1st but I'm not sure I can wait that long and if I am pregnant I'd hate to let something like that go and have it cause further complications.

I wonder if you had a miscarriage. It is possible that the reason the line was so faint was because of low levels of the HCG hormone produced in pregnancy. Sometimes if it is really low that is an indicator that a miscarriage will follow shortly. I am not an expert though so who knows. It is strange how it went from positive to negative so quickly though. Goodluck.
