Has anyone here had a dental cosmetic procedure done.I'm 23 and i have 4 crooked teeth,my upper teeth are my main concern.I do not smile at all and people get the wrong impression when they first meet me.I'm saving up for veeners now.It will be quick and it lasts for almost 15-20years and i will be able to smile rightaway. Please if anyone had it done, write me about your experience! Thanks

HI. Okay, this is my third reply on the board so it's safe to say that I have had many procedures including this one. Ten years ago, I got my top four front teeth veneered. At that time it was 300.00 per tooth and I think it has gone up to 400.00 per tooth or something like that but it has been worth it. My teeth were not crooked, but they had little enamil on them and they were very sensitive. If in fact they had been crooked, the veneers would've fixed that, it's a great alternative to braces. Some tell you they last for ten years, some tell you longer. I have had absolutely no problem with them, they are great! If you get your teeth cleaned by someone other than the dentist who put them on for you, ask them to be careful with them. I do hope mine last for many more years as this is one expense I haven't accounted for since they have done so well so far.
good luck!
bye for now

Wow, that's cheap. In Vegas they range from $600-950 per tooth. I had mine done ten years ago and I want to get them redone so they look fabulous again. They are starting to get a little dull and they use higher quality porcelain now. I would highly recommend getting it done, it's great! My teeth were straight from braces, I just had tetracycline staining on mine. I have the top front eight done. It's supposed to be a good way of straightening teeth, too, that's what Shania Twain did.

Have veneers. They were nothing but trouble, kept popping off. Just make sure that the Dentist who does them anchors them correctly.
