I am on my 11th day c.t., 14th day since I have had my normal 10-16 Loritabs 10 p/day. I started the supplements, vitamins, and started running again. Overall I think I am doing o.k. especially seeing some of the other posts.I also started going to Church. What got me going down the path of my destruction was migraines. Now my biggest obstacle is headaches. Not bad ones, just annoying ones. I own a grocery store with 50 employees so stress level is high. I also went to a Dr. my sister works for and he put me on the blood pressure patch, which helped with my body aches tremendously. He also put me on Ativan so I could sleep. My cravings aren't there, but I am constantly reminded with my headaches. These aren't migraines. The top of my head just feels tender. I know I jumped around alot here, but I wanted to make sure everyone had the facts. I truely want to thank everyone on here for your help. If anyone has suggestions, PLEASE let me know.

Loop,

Me too...I still have headaches and it's been 3 months. They are lessening in frequency and duration, but I still get them occassionally. What I'm finding in my recovery is once my pain realizes it's not going to be rewarded with opiates, it usually goes away.

It will get better...we've all done a number on our poor brains...it will likely take some time for all those angry neurons to calm down. 11 days is fantastic!

Hi loop,

What an airhead I am. I just posted to you, and then I saw this.. oops....anyway, glad to hear that you are still hanging in there. I have been wondering how you were doing.

Yeah I have the headache thing going on too. It really seems to come out of my neck, but hard to say. dp may be onto something with the comment about once our pain realizes it isn't getting any help to deal with it, it kicks and takes care of business.... good thought....makes since to me. That may be scare in itself..... :) My head is definitely a jumbled mess right now...

You are doing great!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang in there.......just know that some days will be better than others, and even though I'm sure working is the last thing you have wanted to do through some if not all of these..........almost 2WEEKS!!!!!! at least you have something to keep you busy. That can't be all bad, because beleive me, my mind wanders way too much, with too much time to wander...... :)

Joan
