O.k I have stuff posted in the anxiety part too. For two weeks I had been suffering from a pressure, not pain in my head. The left part of my face was numb and I had a sore spot on my scalp above my left ear. I went to a hospital where they looked into my eyes and did other tests. These included whispering things in one ear while making a sound in another. Had me follow their finger. Did a test to see if I could tell the difference between the soft and prickly part on a broken popsicle stick and had me squeeze thier fist. They said I passed with flying colours. I had been terrified I was dying with a brain tumour. They told me they think I have an anxiety problem as I also described an episode I had. All of those symptoms went away after a day or so of not worrying. Then after smoking marijuana I had what I think was another panic attack, now there is a sore spot on my scalp above my forehead. And once again I have convinced myself I have a brain tumour. Should I be worried. I am 17. I also get a strange feeling in my head from time to time. However I also stress myself out very easily. Plus for 6 months I was dealing with the fact that I might have herpes. Any comments? Please..

Go to a gyno or a family planning clinic, and get tested for herpes. Use condoms, and get on birth control if you're not already. Go to a general practioner or family care doctor and describe you head pressure symptoms, and tell them what was done at the hospital. He or she can follow up with you, and recommend a specialist if you need one. If smoking pot gives you anxiety attacks, don't smoke pot. The general practioner can do the herpes test and prescribe something for anxiety too if you want to knock it all out at one time.

Dear In Need of Answers-
First I will preface my remarks by saying I am NOT a Doctor or any other trained medical professional, but one thing I have to say is, if smoking pot makes you feel this way, please don't do it! I used to smoke quite a bit when I was younger and I too felt nervous and had terrible headaches when I would "come down" after smoking. Two of my friends usually experiencewd the same thing, and guess what--we have all pretty much left that time in our klives behind us and we feel better. To be sober does not always seem easy, but the longer you are sober for the more grateful you are that you have become sober. Also, about your panic attacks- stay away from any other drugs  , because harder drugs will only intensify your horrible feeling. (Again I have been there too.)Good zLuck and try to eat regularly and as healthfully as possible, because it definitely makes a difference!

whats up, after I had my first attack, I was terrified and I still worry about things today.NEVER smoke weed if your suffering from aniexty. I was smoking one day about a month or 2 after I had my first episode and I tripped out. My heart raced out of my chest and I had to go to the doctor and get help. I was hyperventalting, I was doing it to myself. Weed isnt a good mixture. It messes with the chemicals in the brain, which if you have aniexty, its not a good mix. I have pains in my head off and on, I think its a brain tumor or anuerysum, but its probably just my aniexty. More than likely waht your experiencing is aniexty. But if it is bothering you alot I would get a CT scan just to ease my mind. later
