Hi guys my cousins wife is 48 and end of last year she had a tooth pulled they had to cut the gum and it has never healed and she is getting pain in her eye, the dentist sent her to the hospital and she has to go in over night to have a biopsy of the area a Bone biopsy i think. She thinks its cancer she smokes and takes a drink now and then! is there anything else this could be? advise would be great thanks

She thinks, or they think (the dentist)? Has she been told this may be the case?
My mum had had a tooth removed, then it proceeded to a dry socket bone infection and it took 5 months to start healing and that was with antibiotics.
infection sounds more plausible unless she's been advised otherwise.

Hi there i thought this also as i know its hard to get rid of any infection in the bone, maybe they want her in to get the infected bone removed i really dont know thanks for the advice anyway
