Hi everyone...I did post this question at the end of my other postings..but I wanted to post it on its own so maybe I could get an answer more quickly....I am tapering off of norco's...from 30-35 mgs a day...(taken all at one dose..)....I tapered 10 mgs 5 mgs at a time) in the last 4-5 days and am really only experiencing nausea and a little fatigue....my question is this...as you taper down do the w/d get worse and I really want to know..once you are down to NO mgs. per day..do the w/d symptoms just end or do they increase because you are taking no drug at all?? I hope this questions is not too confusing..sometimes I confuse myself!!!. thank you for your help..I am rooting for all of you...kev

Unfortunately Kev, once you are done tapering you will still find an increase in the withdrawal symptoms, however they will be less severe then if you jumped off at your max mg daily dosage. I wish I could tell you that there was a magic bullet here, but there isn't. I can tell you that it isn't going to be as bad as you think and the worst blows by fast, and then the rest becomes tolerable. It appears with you daily mgs right now, your withdrawals could be a lot more bearable than others, and obviously the taper will help.

Don't worry, I'm sure someone more knowledge will pop in to answer in a more concrete way.
