View Full Version : Posterior Semicircular Canal Occlusion

Hi All

I have been reading about Posterior Semicircular Canal Occlusion and was wondering whether anyone on the board has any opinion on whether it is worth doing or not. I have been frustrated by a very slow recovery and nothing seems to work since I first got BPPV in May 2004. I keep getting reoccurrences of vertigo attacks, which sets me back to square 1 again. MEP helps me stop spinning but the same fuzzy dizziness never goes away. Then I make progress and get excited about getting better, only to have the same thing happen again. From what I have read this procedure seems to be relatively safe and successful in most cases, compared with the older Singular neurectomy procedure. Does anyone out there have any more information.

Thanks
Toi
