My 3 year old grandaughter has increasing sensitivity to loud noise, covering her ears and shying away from anything with a louder sound such as, motors running, cars driving by, fans...

I had read a while back that this was a symptom of something, but can not remember what that was. Any ideas?

Thank you so much for the reply! She had some ear infectins as a baby, but has not had any in probably close to a year. The audiologist idea is one I had not thought about and will pursue. Thank you again! :angel:
