I have had problems with foot pain since before I can remember. I comes and goes, but is worst whenever I stand for long periods of time. I finally couldn't stand it anymore, and after becoming unable to bear weight at all, I went to my doctor.
She diagnosed the foot pain as Plantar Fascitis, which is a painful inflamation of the tissue that holds your muscles to your bones. When Fascitis is at its worst, the tissue actually tears, and the muscles pull away from the bones, making it impossible to bear weight.
I had healed from it last time, but I was staying off of my feet. Now that I am at work again, I have developed the pain again, and tonight I could feel it tearing......eek. I have tried in-soles and cushioning in my shoes, and even special shoes to support my foot, and nothing is working.
I really don't want to be on crutches again, but if my muscles separate completely again, I'll probably have to.
Any advice?
