my daughter is 11 months old and she is cranky alot, and it makes me feel irritated sometimes and i feel really guilty cuz of this, is it normal to get different emotions throughout the day while taking care of a baby, some of them negative.

I went through this right about the same time with my DD. She was just getting to an age where she wanted to assert herself I think. They are just starting to realize that they are a seperate person from Mommy. Their attention span is short, and they are teething. It's a rough time. It's totally normal to have negitive thoughts. As long as they are not all consuming or you think you may actually act on some of those thoughts, I think they are totally normal.

Could your lil one maybe be bored? Perhaps it's time for new toys to be taken out, or new games, a change in the routine? Can your lil one walk? Would she enjoy a trip to a local playground? I found around that age I started taking my DD to the playground rather then just for our afternoon walk in the stroller, and it made a HUGE difference.

Your mood can also have a big effect on their mood. So even if it is so hard it hurts (:P) smile and try to keep your spirits up and she will follow suit.

My DS is one month old and gets me so annoyed. He is a big crier. My patience gets pushed to the max. But then I can be giving him his bottle and he is staring at me with his big eyes and looking me right in the eye and I find myself being like You are so cute I love you. And then a little while later he will be crying agian and I want to scream at him to STOP. But I know I can't do that to him.
