I am 21 years old and for about 3 weeks now every morning when I get out of bed my right foot hurts. The pain goes away in about 20 minutes or so. But it still bothers me everyday. I dont think you can sleep on your foot wrong. So does anybody know what could be causing this?

Is it the heel that hurts? If so it sounds like a classic heal spur.

No its not the heel that hurts. It feels like the bones on the top of my foot.
It could still be related to the plantar facia (arch ligatment). The morning pain is a classic symptom. Have your doctor take a look.

Oh my gosh....I am new to this site and I joined to see if anyone else was having the same problem as you posted?
Misery loves company....I can't help but I can share my story.....
It is my right foot/ankle...only when I get out of bed....I can't put any weight on it because the pain is as if I broke my ankle...the pain is mostly on the inner part of my ankle. If I swing my foot over the the side of the bed and kind of gently exercise it a bit with small movements...it seems to help ease the pain of my first steps. My inner ankle is a little soar for a few hours and then seems to be okay the rest of the day.
I'm not sure if this is part of what is happening with my ankle/foot but my second toe, has been hurting at the end and especially if I have walked alot.
It has been about three weeks of this for me too. The pain isn't enough to hold me back but it is increasing a little. I hate to go to a doctor and have them say....let me get this straight, it doesn't hurt all day...just your toe, and it isn't holding you back from your daily routine? With MRI and my visit that will be $500 and just stay off of it for now because it will just take time to heal...sorry that was your vacation MONEY!!!!
