I will be undergoing an upper lid crease revision in June. Dr. Coder will be performing my surgery.

I have been on Dr. Meronk's web page.

He seems to be particularly qualified as he specializes in ONLY eye surgery.

I must say I was greatly impressed with his credentials and his website which was very educational.

Dr. Frank Meronk paid a medical malpractice
award of $312,521 in August 2002.

You can confirm this by going to the California
Medical Board website.

He is board-certified in Ophthalmology.
He is NOT board-certified in Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Mark Codner appears to have impressive
credentials. He is Board-Certified in
Plastic Surgery and in General Surgery.

Good luck to you.

I talked to Dr. Meronk about this before having him do my surgery (very happy with result!) and he was very straightforward about the matter. Had to do with an eye infection picked up in the hospital by somebody having reconstruction after cancer removal. Nothing to do with cosmetics. Also, Meronk did a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery and does nothing else. He does a ton of lid surgery but no surgeon is ever perfect. Heard Groth is good too. Hoenig too. Both in LA. All three are top notch.
