I have a million and one questions about Wegener's since we almost lost my sister to this last year. Please could someone tell me where I should be posting as I have no idea which forum this would come under. It is a vascular disease but there is no specific forum for that...
Thank you...

Hi Ashlee--
My brother had Wegener's Granulomatosis, among many other autoimmune diseases. WG is an autoimmune disease. My brother developed Pulmonary Fibrosis, and that was the cause of his passing at 46.
Try the Immune Disorders board. It supports people with AI diseases. If she has any lung problems as a result of it, try the Lung Disorders board. I know it can also cause kidney problems too, although my brother didn't get that, as he had what was called "Limited Wegener's", which doesn't effect the kidneys. There is also a Kidney Disorders board here. You can also do your own search on WG.
my prayers are with your sister and you...

Hi Deda, thank you very much for your reply. I am so sorry to hear about your brother.
I will try the immune forum. Wegener's didn't affect my sister's kidneys either, her lungs were badly affected though.
Thank you for your help once again. :) Take care.
