I'm wondering if anyone takes Kadian and if so...how much per day? Can you share what your pain level was before adding Kadian and what it is after? I'm trying to get an idea of what to expect. Do you take other meds for break through pain?

I recently started taking Kadian 50mg one per day. I also use hydrocodone for breakthrough pain. So far...I dont see that the Kadian has helped much at all. I still have to take as much hydro as before. I've only been on the Kadian for a few days and was wondering if it takes awhile to see the difference? My pain has been between 5-8 constantly....usually about 6.
