Hi ppl,well im new to this forum so first up id like to say hi!Im Adam.Basically im having sum problems,aint we all!I think i could be depressed,although im not sure to be honest.Basically i feel very consious of the way i look!Im constantly trying to eat the rite things very strict diets and doing loads of physical stuff to get that perfect physique!I feel that has become an obsession!Especially my eating,im always thinkin about wot im gonna eat like always!Now ive had to hav an operation and cant do any phys till im recovered from that so its sending me crazy trying to think about wot i eat!Another problem im having is tryin to get over my ex g/f!Now this girl i fell for,she was my first real love and just dont seem to be able to move on!It was like2yrs ago now.I mean ive never slept with any1 since or been close to a girl!She was beautiful but i know she treated me like pure **** and i thought i was over her ages ago but i dunno!Its messing with my head!Im 20 years old,dont seem to have any friends any more and just feel like a complete looser really!How sad do i sound!Please any advise and words of wisdom would be most appreciated,thanks,Adam.

Well, this is easy to say but not necessarily easy to do, "pull yourself up by the boot straps and march on with your life". In other words, stop worrying about the past, start new, live for now and in the future.
Sounds like you have OCD, but, if you set your mind to it you can become less compuslive on issues you mentioned and live a more realistic life. This will help put a smile on your face and that in turn will make others feel more comfortable being around you again.
Let's face it, most people do not enjoy being around a person who is "self absorbed".
Try getting out and about in this world, do some volunteer work helping others and get your mind off of yourself. This usually helps a great deal. In time you will be a well rounded person that others will enjoy your company.
