Why don't I get thirsty. I've been trying to hydrate myself for the past few days now(this happens alot!). I've been drinking so much water that their is no color to my urine and the ER tells my my electrolites and potassium is really low. They just send me home and say don't drink so much. But if I don't, I can't get hydrated. I get up during the night to drink water too. It seems to run straight through me. When I get like this my heart beats so fast, I have to hold my breath and bear down to slow my heart beat down, take an aspirin several times a day, pain over my heart that radiates to my upper back and the other side of my chest, under my arm, crushing pain in my shoulder, down my arm, into my jaw, swelling legs, etc. I bought some gatorade this morning, like I do often. I drank about 24 oz this morning and still feeling the chest pain. My cardiologist says it's a heart condition but then he changes his mind and says it's not. I've been seen for gerd and for chest wall pain. I have thoratic outlet syndrome and maybe a pinched nerve.
My card has done some stress tests and EKG's and scan's, etc but nothing has been found thus far. They always do the tests when I'm feeling good. I've also had the heart monitor but my hearts done good each time. I wish I could pick up the heart monitor when the problem is really bothering me but that's been impossible in the past two years. I've had this problem every since I was stationed in Germany, preganant with my 2nd daughter, only back then it didn't bother my heart. The heart started bothering me about 4 years ago. In Germany it started with not being able to sleep because I was so thirsty, I couldn't sleep and getting up all night long to drink and pee. Now I still only get extremely thisty in the night, never in the day. Has anyone ever heard of this.
