Hey, in the last year I have been having blackouts they arent hapening frequently but randomly. I have thought of perhaps two causes

1. Standing up too fast (however they have occurred in the shower when i was standing)
2. Because of dramatic temperature change.

I have not been hugely worried about it until I had one today and found myself on the floor 10 seconds later. Also the blackouts can be very odd because I lose complete control of my limbs and will sometimes find myself jerking about (unable to stop). Just like someone having a Fit would...
If anyone can help or give any advice I would be very Grateful,
Mcbmusic.:)

You may be having seizures. Best to get checked out by your doctor.

Another cause of blackouts can be due to being a shallow breather, however, this would not relate to the jerking you mentioned. Make sure you are taking deep breaths and slow exhales in order to maintain a balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide. Our body needs a balance of these in order for the red carpusles to release oxygen to vital organs.
