I'm five weeks PP and was wondering how long after should it be before AF starts her montly visits again? I stopped bleeding about 2.5 weeks ago and today I woke up feeling like I had started but I hadn't and now (Sorry TMI) just after using the restroom I had brownish discharge like at the end of a AF. Could this be the start of AF?

i started mine on monday...but it has been light bleeding, not heavy....thats was a little more than 4 weeks pp

It's different from one person to another. My AF started after 6 months. I breastfed every 2 hrs before my daughter turned 6 months. Then she started solid so I only nurse every 3 hrs and at night she doesn't drink as often anymore.

My sister got her period after 2 months. From the beginning she only nursed every 3 to 4 hrs.

I still bf, about once a day, and have started my period at 9 weeks pp. I bled until I was 5 weeks pp.

Well, I'm not sure what it is. It has stopped but I have the worst cramps. Don't miss those. It was like the end of my normal periods but instead there was no AF lol. Who knows I go to my six week on Monday so I'll talk to him.

I think I got mine after 6 or 7 weeks PP and I'm not BF.
