Hi. I'm a 37 year old male melanoma, stage 3-B, patient. Anyway, I just had surgery and had all my lymph nodes removed under my right arm. I'm not recovering and actually feel a little worse each day, so sore to the touch is my underarm that I shake because it's so intense.

Is it possible to get blood clots under there after a surgery like this?
Thanks!!

Sometimes any kind of wound will actually feel worse on day two and three after surgery, and then will start getting better. If it's been longer than that and you see no improvement and, in fact, feel it's getting worse, then you should call your doctor. You could have conceivably developed an infection in the wound.
