Well we've discussed that your own eggs get re-absorbed into your body each month if you leave your ovaries and tubes, but what about your husband's little men? Where do they go?
Sorry if offensive, but I'm curious to know.

Hi hrtofluv,
The top of the vagina is sewed shut so the little men will flow back on out..
Not offensive at all, we all have questions about such things...

THANK you so much for the answer.
Now based on that answer - the next question is...
So when he occassionally hits something inside during a bed dance - I've always thought it was my cervix (who knows maybe I'm wrong). But if I'm sewn shut - would he then be hitting that instead? And could he split it open? Would it prevent him from entering completely?
Maybe I'm just blonde here, but I'm getting more and more confused.

LOL, ok Im blond too, I just assumed you had already had a hysterectomy..
Since you still have your cervix that is what he is hitting..But after a hyst if your cervix is removed the top is the vagina is sewn shut, he would hit there and stop..
Your Dr will check to make sure your healed before giving you the ok to have sex after surgery,, usually 6 weeks..so no worries of splitting open, just follow Drs orders..
The vagina is usually not shortened to where you or your husband will notice it. Plus it can really stretch, so you should have no problems with him entering completely.
Hope this helped.

SBG,
You are such a wealth of information - THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Having a "mystery id" here online helps me ask these questions that I would be embarrassed to ask the doctor face-to-face. Not that I wouldn't have trouble asking her cause she is precious and will call me with blood test results instead of having a nurse do it - I could ask her ANYTHING.
But I fear my hubby would fall out in the floor of embarrassment. He is going with me to this consultation this afternoon to discuss it more fully.
But that closes the discussion on that.
THANKS again! It really helped alot!
