Almost every night when I try to go to sleep, my ankles are hurting. It kind of sounds like restless leg syndrome, but it's only my ankles that hurt. Can that be rls? If I try to suppress the movement of my ankles, my legs will begin to tremble and I have to stretch them and rotate them and they will make cracking noises and will relieve the pain only for a few seconds. I usually have to wrap a heating pad around them to get to sleep and get relief. I've tried ibuprofen, but it doesn't help. What else can I do?
