Ok it sounds real bad, and maybe it is, but I need to be honest about how my body feels. I need to do this so maybe I can get some good advise. I do not have medical insurance and have to rely on myself for now. I like vitamins, Bolthouse juices, salads, organic veggie juice, but with low funds have to buy junk instead many times. Today I have long deep chest pains. A doctor told me long ago that sharp ones are not at much a danger as the constant pain. Anyway that makes common sense. I take GNC Multi-Oil when I can afford it too. But I don't exercise as much as I should. :nono:

I went to the store today and picked up some raw spinach, cucumber, tomatoe, green pepper, Bolthouse Orange (tastes like peeled oranges), Bolthouse Green Goodness (too many fruits and veggies to mention), aspirin, and spring water. I can only hope it helps take the pain away.

I always had low blood pressure and am trying to understand in medical terms, technically what is going on in there, if the blood pressure is low, and the cholesterol is high. I don't know my cholesterol right now, but it is still probably over 200. Any explanations would help as I go back out on the Internet and lookup medical details of them. Just trying to see how they combine in the body, and why I would get chest pains. I think it is because the arteries are tighter with higher cholesterol, but the blood flows good with low blood pressure.

I don't know anything, but I hope somebody answers you because I just found your post while searching for info on the same thing! My cholesterol is around 220, but my BP has always been "good", but they took it at the Dentist's office the other day & were kinda freaked out about how low it was (I don't remember the actual numbers) & my pulse was in the 50's. Maybe I was just really relaxed? (I wasn't medicated or anything). I get heart palipitations and PVCs sometimes, but it doesn't sound like the same heart thing you described. I'm also somewhat overweight, 39 and 6 weeks pregnant!

Hi Laura1961
I cannot judge your chest pain from here but can say to you with confidence not to take Aspirin. If (and it is possible) your pain is coming from acid in the stomach, Aspirin will definitely aggravate that. Stick to Panadol.
BTW Aspirin is in the stuff like Disprin, Codalgian, Bex etc. Read the labels.
There are antacids available over the counter if you want to try them before you see someone.
Another area that can give chest pain is the Thoracic Spine area. Have you been lifting anything awkwardly or have you twisted it? (The pain can feel like it is in the chest because it "refers" along nerves.)
You might try some stretching to see if that will help.
To understand the anatomy, check out Atherosclerosis and alternative names, as well as Angina.
You only need to excercise enough to get the heart rate up for 12 minutes twice a day for heart benefit. You can do that watching TV by jogging on the spot.
