Hello,

I have has toe nail fungus on my left big toe for about a year now. Can anyone recommend anything over-the-counter or prescribed by doctors?

It makes me not want to wear any open toed shoes because of it.

Thanks in advance for your insights,

I have read by other posters that Vicks Vaporub works. I have been trying it for a week so it is too early to tell. But perhaps someone else can let us know whether it works,

I had toe nail fungus for 1 year before i knew what it was. I soaked feet in hot water for about an hour then cleaned and dried.I then soaked toes in Old Spice (original) aftershave and left about 1 minute to dry, Then i coverered the complete toe with Vaseline.Saw great improvement from next day and is looking better every day. I do this every night. Sounds silly and could be a fluke but it certainly worked for me.
