Hey again,
I have been seeing a physical therapist who seems to think I can deal with my bunions without surgery. Did any of you look into that as a means of treatment? Anyone use toe separators or bunion regulators?
Thanks!!

Hi Gainup,
Do some research on the internet... or see a specialist. The ONLY way to fix a bunion is surgery. Other things may slow the progression down - but they will NOT correct it.

if your bunions are not very progressed, then a combination of orthotics and toe seperators can slow it down and minimize pain. The way my feet are I have to have surgery.. but I've found that using the toe seperators when they are bothering me helps make them feel better.

Where do you get toe seperators, I would think they would crowd your toe even more.

you can get them at any drugstore.. I know I've seen them at Walmart.. I got mine at Eckerds. They would seem like they do.. I was using them on my big toes (just had surgery on my left foot so no need for that one anymore). It would push my big toe out and force it to straighten more.. It does take some getting used to, but then you don't know they are there. I recommend the gel ones..
