I watch this show. I have a question???? I have had 3 surgeries on my breasts. implants, lift, correction of the lift! Two out of 3 surgeries, went teriably wrong! I was a smoker------for the 3rd surgery... i quit 2 months before hand.....and still didnt heal!!!! I am soooo extremely upset! So, my question......these PS on this show, are in LA and Beverly Hills. Obviously, some of the best PS in the world.............i am assuming! Very expensive as well. This is my concern.....these PS that i have seen do breast implants/lifts, make such small insisions in the women's breasts...for her benefit, of not having scar's on her breasts. Or women have went to them, to have correction, and they do "miracle" fixes. I have been mutilated (with 2 lifts) This last surgery, i went to one of the best PS...who has been on 20/20 and people from all over the world have gone to him! I also did extensive research on him. I quit smoking plenty of time before this last surgery! He told me 6 wks----i did 8 wks! Can this be his fault? The overall shape...i like (it's better than before) but all in all, i am so disapointed!!!!! I dont know to trust him for further surgeries! I have been to 3 different surgeons...for all 3 surgeries! The 2nd one was a nightmare (wasnt a PS) and told me i didnt have to quit smoking....lawsuits etc! I did no research on the quack!!!! My fault!!! I learned from that mistake! K, so i hear all kinds of different theories of quitting smoking.....2 wks before, 4 wks, 6 wks. Im not sure if they really know. I know there is someone out there that has smoked, and had a nightmare of a situation like myself!!!! I posted back in May, when i had my last surgery, and this hasnt happened to anyone....at least no one responded. Do you think i should trust this PS????? I want some other surgeries done..... in the future...and i dont want to go to a 4th PS...................................ANY ADVISE??????????

You said you had a problem with 2 out of 3, so I take it one surgery went well, maybe you would like to do some new reseach on that doctor. Maybe check a few new ones, but research, research, research, There are alot of great plastic sergons (can't spell) out there. I would havea few consultations before going under the knife again. I can't stand that dark haired doctor on 90210 he seems really spookie to me!! good luck

Ohhhhh, me too. They all seem weird on that show???? Spooky is right on! Actually the show is too good to be true.............it is just a show-----maybe i need to stop freaking out, and believing everything i see on tv.... :)

Not sure on this...but i believe smoking makes you bleed like crazy...well maybe not crazy but certaintly more than a NON smoker. (during surgery and after)

I'm supossed to stop smoking tomorrow. I'm scared I won't be able to. I'm having 2 more before I go to bed, than none for 4 weeks. Waaaah! How am I gonna make it? I'll let u know how my surgery and recovery goes and my no smoking. I'm gonna miss it. My nose better be freakin hot!!!!

What's weird is, after my last 2 surgeries, i was told i had minimal bleeding during the surgery! Also, not all cosmetic procedures require that you stop smoking! Like, when i had my breast augmentation done-----i didnt quit, and everything went fine. I think you have to quit, if alot of cutting is involved?????? All i know, is it is damn worth it to quit!!!!!
