Trazodone For Sleeping

Ambien kills my memeory and makes me very irratable the following day. The p-doc gave me Clonazepam which worked great for sleep until one day it stopped working. My p-doc wants me to try Trazodone which I already tried. I noticed with a 50mg pill I had vivid dreams and was unable to wake up the following day. Then I tried 25mg I went to sleep, no vivid dreams but still had the same problem getting out of bed. The drug seems to drain all my enegery. I have only been taking this for three days and I am still trying to see what works best but are these side effects normal and if so will they go away? So tonight I will try half of a 25mg and see how that works..

Quick Comment: If you are Bipolor how does that effect your sleeping? I am not thinking of anything to keep me up, my eyes wont close until sun light shines through or two hours before work.

I had the same problem your having on Trazadone. Talk to your doctor, many also use remeron or seroquel for similar purposes.

Seroquel to me is a godsend. I don't use it daily, but for one week once a month to help regulate my sleep times.
