Greetings all.

I have some pain on the right side of the abdomen not the upper or the lower...just in between.

Strange thing is I wont even call it a pain but a sensation.
it happened like two times like when I got up from my bed.
I tryed lying down and pushing my fingers in side the place where I had that sensation and no pain or anything....

Could be the mind ?

Anyone have an Idea?

I also heard metamucil was good for fiber I think as Harry suggests so I am taking one spoon a day to have normal stools instead of diff variants...

Overload,
Welcome to this board!!

You really need 25 to 35 grams of fiber daily to make your intestines function properly. THis much produces normal BMs w/o straining for most people. It also needs to be a combination of both soluble and insoluble fiber.

One spoon of Metamucil daily is about 2.5 grams -- of mostly soluble fiber. I sure hope you are intaking what you need in your diet daily along with enough water!!

I wish you well ---Harry

All fruits and veggies including greens& green beans also nuts/seeds are mostly insoluble fiber. Wheat bran is insoluble.

Soluble fiber is the inside of grains like rice, corn meal & grits, barley, oatmeal-- beans & peas except the outside husk,--- root veggies like potatoes, carrots, turnips, beets and psyllum.

This is not a complete list but it will give you an Idea of what fiber is!!!

All meat/ seafood and dairy products contains no fiber!!

and they are light brown color is that ok ?

By the way since I started metamucil...........like 2 days ago..
the BM frequency increased like now I need to go a few times a day.....
